Chicken & Waffle Mac n Cheese

What’s Needed:

Let’s Get Cooking:

Step 1

Cook Noodles in plenty of salted water.

Step 2

In a skillet, simmer ¼ cup of milk, stir in cheese powder.

Step 3

Add ¼ cup of shredded cheddar cheese and 1 tablespoon of softened butter.

Step 4

Put a portion of the Mac & Cheese in a Belgium Waffle Maker and cook until brown and crispy. Put remaining Mac & Cheese on Plate, add wedges of the waffle, top with Fried Chicken and Maple Syrup.

Secret tips from the Chef

For best results, use freshly picked corn

When preparing your waffle batter, make sure your Mac N Cheese is chilled before adding

For a little bit of heat, add chopped jalapeños or your favorite hot pepper

Extra Cheesy Mac n Cheese

Step 1

Cook noodles in plenty of salted water.

Step 2

In a skillet, simmer milk, stir in cheese powder.

Step 3

Stir in ¼ cup of shredded cheddar cheese and 1 tablespoon of softened butter.

Step 4

Mix noodles into cheese mixture, plate and enjoy.

For richer flavor and a more gourmet feel, add your favorite aged cheddar

For a Mediterranean twist, add roasted red pepper and black or green olives

For a healthier alternative, add sliced avocado and arugula

Extra Cheesy Pumpkin Mac n Cheese

Step 1

Cook Noodles in plenty of salted water.

Step 2

In a skillet, simmer ¼ cup of milk, stir in cheese powder.

Step 3

Add in shredded cheddar cheese and softened butter.

Step 4

Add spiced pumpkin on medium-low heat, add pasta and mix well. Transfer to a serving dish and finish with extra grated aged cheddar and serve.

If traditional Fluff is not available, feel free to use marshmallows

For a different flavor profile, use your favorite roasted squash instead of sweet potatoes

Mac n Cheese Street Taco

What’s Needed:

Let’s Get Cooking:

Step 1

Cook Noodles in plenty of salted water.

Step 2

In a skillet, simmer ¼ cup of milk, stir in cheese powder.

Step 3

Add shredded cheddar cheese and softened butter.

Step 4

In another pan, sauté beef and with Taco seasoning.

Step 5

To serve, fill the shell in the following order: refried black beans, ground beef, cheddar, mac n cheese, spinach, avocado, tomato and garnish with cilantro.

For a different texture, substitute hard taco shells for a soft flour or corn shell

For a brighter, fresh twist, add pico de gallo or your favorite salsa
